Your typical day
- Attending scrum at the start of the workday to touch base with the team.
- Planning out the User Flows and structure of the features/sub-features that have been assigned to you in detail while considering all the related dependencies.
- Creating wireframes based on the approved UX flows which go through an engineering review before getting approved for mock-up creation.
- Creating mock-ups of approved wireframes which go through content and product review before getting handed over for development.
- Extensive documentation of the work done is a requirement for easier collaboration with the design team and with other teams.
- Proficient error-handling is a must. Since we have a complicated enterprise platform, we try to help the user expedite and accomplish their tasks wherever possible.
- Occasionally attending calls with our sales and customer success team based in Canada, which means availability in the evenings and very rarely, later at night.
Our expectations
- 1-4 years of experience in UI/UX Design, preferably in a commercial environment.
- Providing an online portfolio showcasing exemplary work in web and application design.
- Proficiency in Figma is a must along with understanding of CSS frameworks and design systems like PatternFly.
- Ability to deliver sketches, wireframes, mock-ups and documentation based on prior discussions within the team, prior to the set deadlines.
- The vision to be able to plan and execute complex features with a great number of interdependencies and multiple levels of abstractions in a seamless manner.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with teammates and other teams.
- Inquisitiveness regarding the assigned feature during the planning stages, preferably.
- Good to have: Understanding of client-server communication concepts and data visualisation.
