Job title: UI/UX designer
Location: Remote (Worldwide)
We are looking for a talented and creative designer to join our design team. In this role, you will work closely with our engineering and product teams to shape the visual identity of our app and brand reflecting the latest design trends, user research insights and our existing branding guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user interface design, brings a fresh perspective on design and innovation and has the ability to conduct and apply user research to translate latest design trends into iconic product experiences for GlueX
What you will do:
- UI design: Design intuitive and clean user interfaces for our products across web and mobile platforms, enhancing user experience
- UX design: Conduct and analyse user research to identify pain points and opportunities, and create interaction flows, translating these insights into effective design solutions
- User research: Utilize user feedback collected from different sources and data analysis to deeply understand Web3 user needs and continuously drive design improvements
- Brand Consistency: Utilize existing branding guidelines to create cohesive visuals across websites, marketing banners, and other digital assets
- Collaboration: Work closely with the product and marketing teams to ensure smooth implementation of designs and drive product iterations
- Innovation: Stay up to date with design trends and emerging technologies, proposing creative ideas and solutions to enhance product functionality and aesthetic appeal
Requirements:
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools
- Understanding of the DeFi ecosystem – dapps, wallets and smart contracts and ability to translate blockchain user needs into excellent interactions
- Familiarity with user testing, A/B testing and other user research methodologies, with the ability to optimise designs based on data and feedback
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills, capable of working effectively with cross functional teams remotely
- Firm understanding of our brand aesthetics and positioning
Nice to have:
- Knowledge about fintech, investment platforms and crypto products
- Previous experience in DeFi ecosystem
- Experience working with teams across offices and timezones
- Experience in creating and maintaining a design system
