What you’ll be doing:
- Designing the end-to-end user journey across web and mobile interfaces
- Creating wireframes, high-fidelity UI designs, and interactive prototypes
- Working closely with founders and engineers to rapidly iterate on product flows
- Thinking deeply about UX — identifying friction, edge cases, and invisible user needs
- Helping build Dashwave’s design system from scratch (typography, components, interaction patterns)
- Balancing aesthetics with clarity, usability, and speed
- Contributing to real product decisions — your input won’t be limited to “just the UI”
What we’re looking for:
- A strong portfolio that shows thoughtful UX and polished visual design
- Experience with Figma and designing responsive layouts
- Clear understanding of UI/UX fundamentals: hierarchy, accessibility, layout, feedback, etc.
- Curiosity about dev tools, AI, and how to design for technical users
- Willingness to prototype, test, and throw out 10 designs to find the right one
- Bonus: You’ve shipped real features or worked with engineers before
