About Acorn Globus: Acorn Globus is a fast-growing company specializing in custom application development. We are looking for a talented Shopify Application Developer to join our team and contribute to building robust, scalable, and high-performing applications for the Shopify ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Shopify applications using Ruby on Rails, React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
- Build and integrate new features within the Shopify platform.
- Ensure seamless performance, security, and scalability of Shopify applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, marketers, and other developers.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high code quality and performance.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify’s API changes and best practices.
- Work effectively within the EST timezone.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Shopify application development with a strong understanding of the Shopify ecosystem.
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
- Experience working with Shopify APIs and custom app development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GraphQL and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Shopify Liquid templating language.
- Understanding of e-commerce best practices and Shopify app store guidelines.
