Key Responsibilities
- Should have basic understanding of software testing
- Should be able to prepare scenarios and derive test cases from the same
- Should be proactive in test cases execution, defect discussion, defect logging, risk identification and mitigation
- Should have experience on Test Management (like Quality Center) and Defect Management tools like (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
- Basic SQL Database query skills to create/edit queries
- Basic Programming skills in C, C++, Core Java (Loops, String Manipulations, File Read/ Write)
- Conduct independent system testing for changes to the application
- Design test cases including expected outputs from the Business Requirements and Functional to ensure maximum coverage, to emulate user interaction in the production environment
- Execute the end-to-end test scenarios and validate results
- Report test results and ensure that bugs are properly identified, tracked, documented and fixed and help in UAT support to users Review and provide input on Business Requirement and Functional Specification document
