Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Development Intern to join our team for a six-month internship. The intern will play a crucial role in developing both frontend and backend components of our core product Scout.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the development and maintenance of APIs and server-side logic using FastAPI.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement new features and enhancements for our web platform using React.
- Assist in integrating and managing backend services on AWS.
- Help troubleshoot, test, and maintain the product to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
Qualifications:
- Currently in the final semester of or recently graduated from a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Open to transitioning to a full-time role after the internship.
- Strong understanding of Python and JavaScript and project experience with FastAPI for backend, ReactJS for frontend, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of backend programming and web technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Good to Have:
- Familiarity with cloud services, preferably AWS, and interest in AI/ML technologies.
