We are looking for a passionate and driven Software Development Engineer I (SDE-1) to join our growing development team. As an SDE-1, you will be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services and web applications using Java or PHP.
- Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and learn best practices.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues as needed.
- Follow agile methodologies and contribute to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements:
Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of professional experience in software development using Java or PHP.
- Strong understanding of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) and data structures.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and microservice architecture.
- Basic knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Exposure to version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with Spring Boot (Java) or Laravel / Symfony / CodeIgniter (PHP).
- Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Exposure to containerization tools like Docker.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
