A strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and technical optimization is essential. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, IT, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–2 years of experience in WordPress development (custom themes, plugins, responsiveness).
- Practical understanding of SEO principles, technical SEO, and optimization tools.
- Familiarity with plugins like Yoast, RankMath, Elementor, WP Rocket, etc.
- Experience with page speed optimization, lazy loading, caching, and image optimization.
- Knowledge of web analytics and tracking tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Good communication, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites using custom themes and plugins.
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and performance across all devices.
- Implement on-page SEO strategies including metadata, keyword placement, internal linking, and schema.
- Perform regular website audits, backups, and updates.
- Collaborate with the content and design team to ensure seamless user experience and search visibility.
- Troubleshoot issues, debug code, and resolve bugs or plugin conflicts.
- Integrate tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and third-party APIs.
- Maintain documentation of work and share monthly performance reports when needed.
- Keep up with WordPress and SEO trends, updates, and best practices.
