As part of their brand evolution and expansion plans, they are looking to hire a Head of Graphic Design to lead packaging design initiatives across their diverse product portfolio.
Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a highly creative and strategic Graphic Design Head with proven experience in packaging design within the FMCG, cosmetics, or food sectors. This leadership role involves managing a team of designers and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, market-ready packaging solutions that align with the brand’s identity and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage the in-house graphic design team, overseeing all packaging design projects from concept to execution.
– Develop creative, trend-aware packaging solutions that reflect the brand’s vision and resonate with consumers.
– Collaborate with marketing, product development, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and effectiveness.
– Translate product and brand stories into compelling visual design concepts.
– Maintain consistency in visual identity across all packaging touchpoints.
– Stay informed about industry trends, printing technologies, materials, and sustainability practices.
– Ensure timely delivery of design outputs while maintaining high standards of quality and creativity.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
– Minimum 8 years of experience in packaging design, with significant exposure to the FMCG, cosmetics, or food sectors.
– Strong portfolio demonstrating impactful packaging design work.
– Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing creative teams.
– Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard design tools.
– In-depth understanding of packaging materials, print processes, and regulatory requirements.
– Strong communication and project management skills.
Preferred Skills:
– Experience with premium or sustainable packaging formats.
– Ability to combine creative innovation with business and operational considerations.
