Responsibilities
ā Review and analyze system specifications
ā Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usabilities
ā Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
ā Evaluate product code according to specifications
ā Interacting with clients to understand product requirements
ā Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems
ā Create logs to document testing phases and defects
ā Report bugs and errors to development teams
ā Help troubleshoot issues
ā Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
ā Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Requirements and skills
ā Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester as a Manual Tester as well as Automation Tester
ā Working knowledge of test techniques and compatibility with various software programs.
ā Must have Good hands-on experience in Web browser Automation Testing and
Frameworks.
ā Must have Good development/scripting skills in common languages which are
Web-driver compatible language such as (Java, Python,C#) with the Selenium
WebDriver API and language-specific client libraries.
ā Good hands-on experience with different Mobile Operating Systems (iOS,
Android, Windows Phone)
ā Must have Knowledge & Experience on JIRA tools.
ā Experience on Automation API Testing & Database testing is plus
ā Experience in project management and QA methodology
ā Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
ā Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
ā Working knowledge of test management software and SQL
ā Excellent communication and verbal skills
ā Attention to detail
ā Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
ā Strong organizational skills
ā BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
