Amazon is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Tester to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of its applications and systems. The role involves collaborating with development teams, creating test strategies, identifying issues, and implementing effective quality processes to maintain product excellence.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for software applications
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand project requirements
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Ensure adherence to QA best practices, coding standards, and quality processes
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior QA testers
- Collaborate in agile environments, attending sprint meetings and contributing to release planning
🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies
- Proficiency in Selenium, JIRA, TestNG, Postman, or similar tools
- Experience with API testing, database testing, and performance testing
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
