  • Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Appium
  • Experience with APIs, webhooks, and system integrations
  • Experience with relational databases like MySQL
  • Experience using git and shell scripting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Experience with Java/Groovy, JavaScript, Grails, and/or SQL
  • Experience with system communication protocols and data formats
  • Understanding of scalable software architecture patterns
  • Experience with performance and security testing
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience with AWS and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of clinical trial operations and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software testing solutions for medical device integrations
  • Build and maintain automation frameworks, scripts, and tools
  • Interface with technologies such as USB/serial ports, SDKs, APIs, cloud services, and mobile apps
  • Perform code reviews and provide input on software quality standards
  • Develop and implement test strategies aligned with requirements and industry standards
  • Execute regression, integration, security, and performance testing
  • Communicate testing results and metrics to stakeholders
  • Evaluate new technologies and testing tools
  • Analyze escalated device integration issues and communicate with customers
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and visual workflows
  • Assist with onboarding new software engineers
