About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated and people-focused HR Coordinator / HR Associate to support our Human Resources team. This on-site, full-time role plays a key part in recruitment, employee onboarding, HR administration, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about helping employees thrive while supporting company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and participating in interviews to attract top talent
- Lead employee onboarding and orientation sessions, ensuring new hires feel welcomed and set up for success from day one
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with FMLA and other labor laws
- Support HR systems administration and related administrative tasks
- Facilitate employee relations initiatives to promote a positive, engaged, and motivated work environment
- Collaborate with management on workforce planning and organizational needs, contributing to continuous improvement efforts
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures
- Assist in developing and implementing training programs to enhance employee skills and encourage ongoing learning
- Plan and coordinate on-site team events to build community and strengthen workplace culture
Requirements
- Ability to work on-site, Monday–Friday, full-time schedule (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Strong passion for creating a positive and supportive work environment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Eager to learn and grow within the Human Resources field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Solid understanding of employee onboarding and orientation best practices
- Strong conflict management and dispute-resolution skills
- Experience in talent acquisition, including sourcing candidates through multiple platforms
- Familiarity with data collection and reporting methods
- Ability to work collaboratively while remaining self-motivated
- Experience planning and leading team events
Nice-to-Haves
- Associate degree (preferred)
- At least 1 year of recruiting experience (required)
- At least 1 year of professional communication experience (required)
- At least 1 year of time-management experience (required)
