Is it a good time to get an upgrade to your phone or wait for an iPhone for an upgrade? This is a question that people have to answer all year. The answer, naturally, is that it’s a matter of. Your budget determines the best time to purchase a new iPhone, the needs and the preference of early adopters. Our forecasting tools can assist you in making an informed choice.
iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max
Apple will reveal its iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max in September. We’ve got a pretty good idea of what we can anticipate:
- A17 chip is the first 3-nanometer processor found in the smartphone
- A button for action is a button that can be programmed which replaces the muted switch.
- Titanium frame The lighter material that will replace stainless steel
- Design refresh, smaller bezels, and slightly curved edges
- The USB-C charging port is set to replace the Lightning port.
- Improved battery life
- Periscope zoom lens (iPhone 15 Pro Max only)
- New colour options for red and crimson
- Higher storage levels
- A higher price starts at $1199 and $1099
We generally advise against those with the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max during this season. However, the higher entry price and the addition of the mute button and charging port might stall upgrades for a time.
We anticipate that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max to be announced on September 13 and then available for purchase by September 22. We also anticipate Apple to cease offering phones like the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max as soon as the new Pro phones are available.
iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are expected to be revealed in September. What can we expect from the new models:
- The A16 chip is similar to iPhone 14 Pro
- Dynamic Island is akin to iPhone 14 Pro
- 48MP camera sensor like iPhone 14 Pro
- Design refresh using an icy glass back (yes, it’s like iPhone 14 Pro) and slightly curved edges
- The USB-C charging port will replace the Lightning port.
- New colour option based on cyan
iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are expected to begin at $799 and $899, respectively. Both phones will be unveiled along with the upcoming Pro iPhone models.
We don’t anticipate an increase in price on iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus; however, we’ll add the same disclaimer to early adopters who might need more preparation to upgrade Lightning cables by USB-C in all places.
Early adopters and price-related factors
Furthermore, iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus will likely increase prices to $699 and $799, respectively.
For early adopters waiting to see the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max is the only option.
If you’re not an early adopter, there are some ways to go.
Initially, if you’d like to watch and see methods to iPhone 15 lineup, think about changing your phone in spring. Apple usually introduces a new iPhone colour in either March or April, but there’s no way to know if it will be released.
What happens if you’d prefer to stay away from this iPhone 15 lineup in its debut year on the market? It could be worthwhile to wait for the price reduction to be available for those who own the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus in September.
If you’re looking for the added camera capabilities offered by iPhone 14 Pro or the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, there’s no reason to put off buying them. As you wait, the colour preferences and storage levels will become more difficult to access.
Goodbye, the iPhone mini?
We will know about the entire lineup at the end of next month. We can speculate about what it’s likely to look like. One possibility is:
- iPhone 15 Pro Max (from $1199)
- iPhone 15 Pro (from $1099)
- iPhone 15 Plus (from $899)
- iPhone 15 (from $799)
- iPhone 14 Plus (from $799)
- iPhone 14 (from $699)
- iPhone 13 (from $599)
- iPhone SE 3 (from $429)
The new iPhone 13 would be a farewell for the iPhone 12 as the iPhone 13 is moving towards its price range.

14 people like it. Does anyone purchase an optional new gadget if the new version is released next month? The current models are priced lower in that period?
View all comments Another thing to keep an eye on to see is what happens with iPhone 13 mini. iPhone 13 mini. Apple is selling this 5.4-inch display model for $599 at present. The issue is that Apple has discontinued its iPhone 12 mini model with its current collection.
It could be because the battery life was disappointing for this model, which is the iPhone 12 mini. On the other hand, Apple may not see the market for two sizes of its two-generations-behind phone.
If Apple decides to stop selling its iPhone 13 mini in the next month, it will be that it will be the last time Apple makes an iPhone specifically made to be smaller.
Summary
In conclusion, first-time users should be put off from upgrading up to the time when the iPhone 15 lineup is unveiled. For those who aren’t interested in the need to change the charging port or looking for a more affordable price waiting or not is as crucial. If you’re a little curious, this could be the perfect time to act.
