Key roles and responsibilities:
- Proven software development experience and Android skills development
- Developing code with third-party libraries and APIs
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architecture, trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android
- Good understanding of Data Structures and Object-Oriented Programming
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Effective implementation of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Thorough understanding of the full software development lifecycle Appreciation of Android-specific asynchronous processing techniques
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Qualifications:
- 3+ Years of experience in Android App development;
- B.Tech/ B.E / M.Tech – Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
