Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Android Developer located in Indore. The Android Developer will be responsible for mobile application development, Android design, Android development, and software development. They will contribute to creating mobile applications and ensure the functionality and performance of the Android platform.
Responsibilities:
– Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
– Work with outside data sources and APIs.
– Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
– Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
– Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
– 6 months to 2 years of experience in Android development.
– Proficient in Java and/or Kotlin.
– Experience with Android SDK.
– Solid understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
– Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
– Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
– Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
Preferred Skills:
– Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
– Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
– Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.
– Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
