Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code following Material Design guidelines.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers for seamless app experiences.
- Consume RESTful and SOAP APIs for real-time data interaction.
- Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and cross-device compatibility.
- Integrate third-party libraries (Firebase, Payment Gateways, Ads SDKs, Analytics, etc.).
- Implement APK security, SSL Pinning, and ProGuard for safe user experience.
- Work on offline capabilities, background services, and push notifications.
- Support and manage app releases on the Google Play Store.
- Apply clean code principles, write unit tests, and maintain version control using Git.
Must Have Skills
- Good understanding of Android SDK, Kotlin, and Java.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design patterns and Jetpack Components (View Model, Live Data, Room).
- Familiarity with Retrofit, Volley, and JSON parsing.
- Basic understanding of Version Control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Willingness to learn and work in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to Firebase, Room DB, and App performance tools.
- Previous internship/projects in Android App Development.
- Published apps on the Play Store or GitHub portfolio.
