About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Android + Flutter Developer to strengthen our mobile app capabilities. This role involves building Android applications while supporting the migration to Flutter for a cross-platform ecosystem. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, passionate about clean and scalable code, and eager to grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Success will be defined by your ability to deliver high-quality, reliable apps that directly impact healthcare outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Build, test, and maintain Android apps (Java/Kotlin) using Android Studio
• Lead/support the migration from native Android to Flutter, ensuring feature parity and smooth adoption
• Develop, maintain, and scale Flutter applications (Dart) with a clean architecture
• Integrate REST APIs, Firebase, and third-party libraries into mobile solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize app performance across platforms
• Review code (Java/Kotlin/Dart) to ensure coding standards and best practices
• Write unit tests and widget tests to ensure app reliability and maintainability
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and QA teams for end-to-end delivery
• Document features, architecture, and migration steps for knowledge sharing
Skills & Competencies
• Strong proficiency in Android Development (Java/Kotlin) with Android Studio
• Hands-on experience in Flutter (Dart) and cross-platform mobile development
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, activity lifecycle, and Gradle
• Familiarity with Flutter state management (Provider, Bloc, or Riverpod)
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills
• Experience with Git, pull requests, and CI/CD workflows
• Clear communication and collaborative teamwork skills
Success Metrics / KPIs
• On-time delivery of features and app releases (meeting agreed sprint timelines)
• Smooth migration progress from Android to Flutter with minimal issues
• App performance benchmarks (low crash rate, optimized load times)
• Code quality maintained (peer-reviewed, unit-tested, and documented)
• Positive cross-functional feedback from UI/UX, backend, and QA teams
