Job Description
– Is responsible for supporting a product team and contributing to the software design, development, and overall lifecycle for the product.
– Will work closely with the product team to deliver features aligned to the business and product strategy.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree or similar
– Design, develop, and implement APIs using IBM API Connect.
– Create and maintain API specifications and documentation.
– Manage API lifecycle, including versioning, deprecation, and retirement.
– Integrate APIs with backend services, databases, and third-party applications.
– Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration.
– Implement security best practices, including OAuth, API keys, and JWT.
– Ensure APIs comply with industry standards and regulations.
– Monitor API performance and troubleshoot issues.
– Optimize API performance for scalability and reliability.
– Develop comprehensive API documentation for internal and external use.
– Must have strong knowledge of JavaScript.
– Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
– Good to have IBM API Connect certification.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
