Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of backend development experience working on web applications
- Hands-on experience utilizing AWS Serverless with a focus on AWS Lambda functions
- Must be a hands-on engineer that has leveraged NodeJS programming languages (JavaScript/TypeScript) within the AWS Cloud environment
- Ability to build scalable and high-performance RESTful APIs
- Familiarity and basic knowledge of Java
- Ability to build end-to-end solutions independently, automate test, deploy pipelines and work within a cloud-based infrastructure
Job Description
- This position is for a Back-End Engineer who will help design and build digital solutions to support customers as well as store associates across online and store experiences
- Insight Global’s client is building an Omni Channel digital platform for their customers and store associates using some of the best in-house, frameworks, platforms and technologies such as AWS Lambdas, Node.js and TypeScript
- This individual will work as a backend engineer building microservices using TypeScript
- This individual will contribute to design discussions and provide researched opinion on industry standards and best practices the team should follow
- This position will require the individual to take ownership of key components in the digital platform, right from inception to post-production
- This individual will work cross functionally with a variety of teams, developers, architects and product/project managers
