We’re seeking a skilled Backend Developer to architect and maintain scalable APIs and backend services that power our web and mobile applications. You’ll work within our Node.js-based stack, ensuring secure integrations, and clean code structures.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and backend logic
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements
Maintain clean, modular code with proper version control and documentation
Optimise database queries and server-side performance
Work on SQL database and sequelize ORM
Requirements:
Strong proficiency in Node.js with hands-on experience building APIs
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL)
Familiarity with API authentication (JWT, OAuth) and role-based access control
Experience with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to containerization (Docker) and cloud deployment (AWS).
