Job Title: Backend Developer

Company Overview: We are a climatetech startup. It is a cloud-based software to help industrial businesses to manage and monetize their sustainability journeys, using AI and blockchain. It helps industrial companies track and monetize their CO2 emissions, creating profitable pathways to sustainability.
The revenue model is based on SaaS subscription fees. Our primary focus is on industrial manufacturing led companies. Geographically, India, Middle East and Southeast Asia are in immediate focus, with EU and North Asia being mid-term focus areas. Pilot clients include large steel, automotive and utility companies. The company is headquartered in Bangalore.
Responsibilities:
– Improve our website to make it easier for people to start campaigns.
– Use tools to track how people use the website and important data.
– Create APIs that can grow and help us partner with other companies.
– Keep up with new technology and use it in our work.
– Fix any problems that come up with our features and make them better.
– Listen to feedback from users and make our products better.
– Take charge of making sure our backend services run smoothly.
– Be good at solving problems, organizing, and working with a team.
Requirements:
– Skills: .Net, C#, Angular.
– Know .Net well.
– Work with Spring framework and build products from scratch.
– Understand basic front-end tech like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
– Use core Java for server-side business logic.
– Know about client-server tech, like how servers and clients talk to each other.
– Understand databases, SQL, and ORM tech, especially MySQL.
– Know about web services and making APIs.
– It’s a plus if you know JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
– Fix problems quickly and follow good coding practices.
– Help others on the team with your expertise.
– Meet deadlines and work well in a team.
– Know about cloud-based apps and how to release software.
– Work in an Agile team to make new features and products.
– Spot ways to make things better and put them into action.
– Support development and testing for our programs.
– Know about CI/CD and automated testing, like using GitHub.
– Be good at finding and fixing bugs and do code reviews.
– Use version control tools like Git.
