As a Backend Intern, you’ll work on building and improving APIs, database systems, and backend services using Python and Django. You’ll collaborate with a fast-paced tech team and contribute to real product features while learning how to build scalable systems.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with the backend team to build, test, and maintain APIs using Python and Django
- Optimize backend logic and database queries for performance and scalability
- Work closely with product and frontend teams to integrate features end-to-end
- Debug issues, write clean code, and maintain technical documentation
- Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and product discussions
Requirements
- Are available for an in-office internship for 3-6 months
- Prior internship experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Python programming
- Hands-on experience with Django or Django REST Framework
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with Git and version control tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
