Function: Software Engineering → Frontend Development

Responsibilities:
- Develop applications following best practices of accessibility and test-driven development
- Create reusable, testable, organised, efficient, and self-documenting code/components
- Partner closely with design and product teams to craft product experiences while providing technical guidance and solutions
- Encourage code craftsmanship across team
- Deliver code in an agile team environment
- Drive teams to follow clean code principles
- Develop cross-browser compatible components, features and UI for our web-based app
- Write, audit, and improve our test coverage
- Profile and improve our frontend performance and security
- Troubleshoot, debug and fix UI and functional related issues
- Translating designs and wireframes into pixel perfect high-quality code
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of software development experience in frontend
- Minimum 4 years of working with ReactJS
- Solid knowledge of cross-browser HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX
- Experience with newer ECMAScript standards (i. e., ES6)
- Experience in automated build, integration, and deployment tools (i. e., Jenkins)
- Experience with REST API’s
- Experience with a testing framework (Jest)
- Familiar with Git and JIRA/Confluence
- Familiar with React-Hooks, Redux, Redux-Saga, React-Router, Babel, Styled-Components and Webpack
- In-depth understanding of JavaScript, the DOM, and relevant concepts Proficient with browserbased debugging
