📝 Job Description:
Uplers is looking for a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and architectures in the cloud. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), strong programming skills, and a deep understanding of data modeling and ETL processes. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient flow and processing of large-scale datasets that drive business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust data pipelines and architectures for analytics and machine learning workloads
- Implement ETL processes to collect, clean, and transform data from multiple sources
- Build and maintain data storage systems using cloud-native tools (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.)
- Optimize data flow, performance, and reliability across cloud environments
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to meet data requirements
- Ensure data security, governance, and compliance standards are met
- Troubleshoot and resolve data processing issues efficiently
🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong experience with SQL, Python, and data integration tools
- Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake)
- Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, data orchestration tools (Airflow, Dataflow, etc.)
- Understanding of data modeling, API integration, and real-time data streaming
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
