ESDS Software Solution Limited is looking for a Cyber Security Specialist who will play a key role in protecting the organization’s digital infrastructure from potential threats. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, developing security strategies, and ensuring compliance with global cybersecurity standards. You will work closely with IT, network, and cloud teams to monitor and mitigate risks, safeguard data, and enhance overall cyber resilience.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage cybersecurity policies, frameworks, and best practices
- Perform regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from various sources
- Identify vulnerabilities and apply timely patches or mitigations
- Configure and manage firewalls, antivirus tools, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems
- Conduct incident response, forensic analysis, and root-cause investigations
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, and other security standards
- Provide cybersecurity awareness and training to internal teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance infrastructure security
🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network defense
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection tools
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools (e.g., Nessus, Burp Suite, Metasploit)
- Understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and encryption protocols
- Certifications like CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and handle security incidents efficiently
