Job Summary:
We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong eCommerce analytics experience to transform data into actionable insights that drive growth. You’ll leverage GA4, Shopify, BigQuery, and BI tools (e.g., Looker Studio) to analyze conversion funnels, customer behavior, and marketing efficiency. Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python for analysis/automation are required.
What you will do:
● Conversion & journey analytics: Build GA4 funnels, diagnose drop-offs (landing → ATC → checkout → purchase)
● Dashboards & reporting: Build and maintain automated executive and team dashboards in Looker Studio (or similar), ensuring clarity, timeliness, and data quality.
● Forecasting & planning support: Partner with Growth/Finance to project traffic, conversion, and revenue; support demand planning with data-backed scenarios.
● Data QA & governance: Validate GA4/Shopify events and schema changes; ensure metric definitions and documentation are consistent and trustworthy.
● Ensure data integrity and governance across structured and unstructured datasets.
● Cross-functional collaboration: Work with Product, Marketing, Lifecycle/CRM, and Engineering to translate business questions into analysis and decisions.
What we are looking for:
● 5–7 years in analytics (preferably eCommerce or consumer DTC), with proven impact on conversion and revenue.
● Expert SQL skills and comfort working in BigQuery (or similar cloud warehouses).
● BI proficiency: Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI—able to design crisp, self-serve dashboards.
● GA4 expertise: Event modeling, custom dimensions, funnels, UTMs, exploration reports; ability to reconcile GA4 with platform data.
● Scripting for analysis/automation: Python or R for data wrangling, notebooks, and lightweight jobs.
● Communication: Clear storytelling with data, executive-ready summaries, and practical recommendations in a fast-paced environment. What will make you stand out:
● Experience with Shopify, Recharge (subscriptions), and Klaviyo (lifecycle/CRM) datasets.
● Hands-on with marketing attribution (rules-based + data-driven), MMM, or causal inference.
● Familiarity with GA4 analytics engineering tools; comfort reviewing tracking specs/GTM.
● Exposure to AI/ML use cases (propensity scoring, next-best-offer, demand forecasting).
● Prior impact in a high-growth eCommerce environment, with measurable wins (CRO, CPA/LTV).
