Overview
As a DevOps Engineer at our company you will play a crucial role in optimizing our internal and clientfacing systems. This position is remote and offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with crossfunctional teams to enhance our infrastructure and software development processes.
Key responsibilities
- Design implement and maintain cloudbased infrastructure and services
- Develop automated deployment pipelines for applications using CI/CD tools
- Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance the software development lifecycle
- Monitor and optimize system performance security and reliability
- Create and maintain documentation for processes and configurations
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues
- Implement and manage configuration management tools
- Participate in oncall support and incident response
- Research and recommend new tools and technologies to improve efficiency
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems
- Contribute to the design and architecture of systems for scalability and reliability
- Manage and maintain version control systems
- Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions
- Participate in the automation of repetitive tasks
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in a DevOps or similar role
- Proficiency in cloud computing platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP
- Experience with containerization tools and technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and practices
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash Python or Ruby
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible Puppet or Chef
- Solid understanding of networking security and system administration
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Nagios Prometheus or ELK stack
- Good understanding of agile methodologies and software development lifecycle
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
