About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and client-focused Digital Marketing Account Manager to serve as the key bridge between our agency and our valued clients. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in managing client relationships within the digital marketing space, without needing to execute campaigns hands-on. You will focus on understanding client needs, facilitating clear communication, preparing insightful reports, and ensuring client satisfaction to drive long-term partnerships and retention. If you excel in client communication, report preparation, and have a solid grasp of digital marketing concepts (such as campaign strategies, KPIs, SEO, SEM, social media metrics, and technical terms like CTR, ROI, CPC, and conversion rates), this is the perfect opportunity to thrive in a collaborative agency setting.
Key Responsibilities
– Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, handling all communications, updates, feedback collection, and escalations with professionalism and transparency.
– Gather client business goals and feedback, then relay them accurately to the internal digital marketing team for strategy development and execution.
– Prepare and share detailed performance reports on digital marketing campaigns, highlighting key metrics, insights, and recommendations in an easy-to-understand format.
– Monitor campaign progress through collaboration with internal specialists (e.g., SEO, content, paid ads teams), ensuring timelines and deliverables align with client expectations.
– Facilitate regular client meetings to discuss updates, gather input, and address concerns, fostering trust and strong relationships.
– Identify opportunities for account growth, such as renewals, upsells, or expanded services, based on client needs and performance data.
– Utilize tools like Google Analytics, CRM systems, and reporting dashboards to compile data without performing technical optimizations yourself.
– Handle client renewals by demonstrating value through ROI-focused reporting and consistent support.
– Take on additional client-related tasks as needed to support team objectives.
Qualifications & Skills
– 2–4 years of proven experience in client account management, client servicing, or customer success roles within a digital marketing agency or similar environment.
– Solid knowledge of digital marketing fundamentals, including how campaigns are planned and run, key technical terms (e.g., SEO, SEM, PPC, social media advertising, content marketing, A/B testing, audience targeting), and performance metrics—without requiring hands-on campaign execution.
– Expertise in preparing and presenting digital marketing reports, analyzing data trends, and translating them into actionable client insights.
– Strong client communication skills, including active listening, negotiation, relationship-building, and conflict resolution.
– Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Analytics for reporting, CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) for client tracking, and basic ad managers for oversight.
– Ability to manage multiple client accounts in a fast-paced setting, prioritizing tasks effectively.
– Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
