Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Strategy Development
• Partner with Zone GM and Indirect Marketing Director to define and lead marketing strategy, prioritization, and execution in country, with clear understanding of market shares, profitability, priority products, competitor dynamics.
• Work closely with relevant partner managers on marketing priorities, customer segmentation and targeting, channel strategy, lead nurture, local website oversight and local approvals of material.
• Lead and deploy in-country activity/campaigns, partnering with Marketing Excellence on material design and utilizing One Content Ecosystem effectively and consistently to execute and measure/analyze/iterate.
• Bring focus to digital marketing campaigns and effective execution.
Customer Acquisition and Retention
• Champion medical education sessions and congress coordination.
• Follow up on leads generated utilizing information in SalesForce.com and customer enquiries via the website.
Product Marketing and Launches
• Partner with Global Care Area/Product Marketing to input, tailor and then execute globally led campaigns, as valuable and applicable, including local lead qualification process.
• Collaborate with product management teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches and updates.
• Support in biannual refresh of marketing materials.
Marketing Analytics and Performance Measurement:
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze marketing data and performance metrics to track progress, identify trends, and optimize campaign performance.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing marketing results, insights, and recommendations.
• Ensure completion of in-country event workflows and payments (AST Support).
• Leverage digital tools (Smartsheet, Power BI) to track projects, streamline processes, and provide actionable insights.
Key Requirements for success:
• Significant experience in commercial marketing roles, preferably in indirect markets.
• Deep understanding of the market landscape, customer behavior, and industry trends.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns in the relevant market.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in digital tools such as Smartsheet and Power BI.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and drive cross-regional projects focused on process simplification, tracking, and efficiency.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, marketing analytics, and CRM software.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus.
