Primary Responsibilities – DTCC Software Engineer (Java Developer) Jobs 2023
- The software Engineer will contribute to the design of components or individual programs and participates fully in the construction and testing.
- Research and apply specific technical knowledge in order to assist in the design and construction of critical systems.
- Working with the Senior Application Architect, and other technical contributors at all levels. This position contributes expertise to project teams through all phases, including post-deployment support. This means researching specific technologies, and applications, and contributing to the solution design, supporting development teams, testing, fixing, and production support.
- The SE works as part of an AD project team and may interact with the business, Functional Architects, and domain experts on related systems.
- The SE will contribute to the design of components or individual programs and participates fully in the construction and testing.
Experience & Skills Required – DTCC Recruitment for Freshers 2023
- Extensive knowledge in client/server and object-oriented software development using Java/J2EE
- Knowledge and proficiency in Kubernetes/Docker (RedHat OpenShift or similar)
- Knowledge in client/server and object-oriented software development applying Core Java, JSON, MQ, JMS
- Knowledge of relational databases including Oracle and Mid-Tier to Database development principles. PostgreSQL is also very nice to have
- Deep understanding of large scale enterprise systems and their architecture
- Knowledge of different Java surrounding technology and protocols and how they are used in enterprise applications (HTTP, TCP, XML, MultiCast, Distributed Caching, etc…)
- Must be proficient in Maven compiled applications
- Proficiency in different phases of the system development life cycle including project planning, analysis, design, programming and unit-testing
- Solid experience in software development using CI/CD tools
- Expert and proficient in Linux, Shell and Perl scripting
- Familiarity with different software development methodologies especially Agile (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in Financial industry a plus
