Job Description
- Competency in C programming language
- Experience using non-Windows operating systems (eg. Linux, QNX, VxWorks, ECOS)
- Familiarity with 2+ firmware development environments
- Familiarity with debugging complex firmware
- Familiarity with developing test software for use during firmware debugging
- Familiarity with the assembly programming language
- Familiarity with the C++ programming language
- Familiarity with using test equipment (eg. oscilloscope, logic analyzer)
- Familiarity with design verification/validation methodologies
- Competency in general use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Competency in configuration management methods
- Ability to communicate technical information to an audience of any experience level
- Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
- Demonstrable initiative toward continuous improvement
- Good level of English (technical)
Preferred (Additional Skills)
- Experience developing hardware, firmware, software, testware.
- Familiarity with networking protocols (eg. TCP/IP, UDP, Some/IP DoIP )
- Some project management experience
- Ability to provide project leadership through the implementation of the project lead duties (refer to the Technology and Product Lead job description)
- Fluent English
- Real time operating systems knowledge
- Some experience in another language (C++, C#, VB.NET, …)
- Automotive SPICE experience
Qualifications
Electronics, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science degree, diploma, or equivalent.
