Position Details
This is a remote freelance contractor position. You will be required to sign a consulting contract, submit a W8-BEN form, and submit weekly invoices. You must have suitable computing resources at your disposal, including reliable power and Internet connectivity.
Role Description
This role is for a Freelance UI/UX Designer. The Freelance UI/UX Designer will be responsible for visual design, creating mock-ups, front-end designs, user experience (UX) design, and user interface design. There will be a mixture of in-house design work for our products, as well as client-driven design work. You will be expected to meet with clients in conference calls to gather details about their design constraints and criteria for their development projects. These may include websites, web applications, mobile apps, and desktop apps.
Qualifications
2+ years of prior work experience as a UI/UX designer
Visual Design, Mock-ups, and User Interface Design skills
Front-End Design and User Experience (UX) skills
Experience in creating seamless user experiences
Proficiency in design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma
Familiarity with ticketing systems like Jira
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web-Accessibility Initiative, and SEO optimization a big plus
Strong ability to work independently and remotely
Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects
Previous experience in digital marketing or web development is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
Native level of proficiency in English requried
Ability to work an afternoon to late-evening shift, aligning with US time zones (up to approximately 1pm Eastern Time)
