This is a full-time remote role for a Frontend Developer at The Mindset Club. The Frontend Developer will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact with on a website. They will work closely with the design and backend teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end features.
Requirements
React Native Framework: Strong proficiency in developing mobile applications using React Native, including components, state management, navigation, and integrating with native modules.
JavaScript/TypeScript: Proficiency in JavaScript is a bonus, and familiarity with TypeScript is often preferred for type safety and scalability.
Mobile Development: Understanding of mobile development principles and best practices, including responsive design, performance optimization, and platform-specific nuances.
API Integration: Experience in integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or other data sources into mobile applications.
UI/UX Design: Knowledge of mobile UI/UX standards and best practices, ability to translate designs into high-quality code.
State Management: Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, or Context API for managing application state effectively.
Version Control: Proficiency with Git or other version control systems for code collaboration and management.
Testing and Debugging: Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) and debugging tools for mobile applications.
Cross-Platform Development: Understanding of differences between iOS and Android platforms and ability to write platform-specific code or components when necessary.
Deployment: Knowledge of mobile app deployment processes, app store guidelines, and experience in deploying apps to Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Responsibilities:
Developing Mobile Applications: Designing and developing React Native mobile applications from scratch, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
Collaboration: Working closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver compelling user-facing features.
Code Reviews: Participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices.
Troubleshooting: Identifying and fixing bugs and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.
API Integration: Integrating with backend services and third-party APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
Qualifications
