Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Web Developer. The Senior Web Developer will be responsible for leading the development of web applications and websites, designing and implementing web solutions, creating and maintaining web architecture, and programming web applications. The Senior Web Developer will work closely with the team to develop project timelines, manage project resources, and ensure successful project completion.
Qualifications
- Back-End Web Development: experience with server-side technologies, such as PHP, Node.js, or Java; understanding of RESTful services and APIs; knowledge of SQL and database management
- Front-End Development: proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; experience with popular front-end frameworks, such as React, Angular, or Vue; knowledge of responsive design principles
- Programming: strong knowledge of programming concepts and principles; proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Ruby, or C#; experience with testing and debugging code
- Web Design: ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly web designs; proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD; understanding of design principles and typography
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial for this role include: experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure; knowledge of security principles and best practices; ability to mentor and train junior developers; excellent problem-solving skills; and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
