Role Description
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications. You will work with the latest technologies, including Next.js, React, Shopify, Contentful, and AWS, to build high-performance, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Next.js and React, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Shopify Integration: Implement and customize Shopify storefronts, plugins, and APIs to enhance e-commerce functionality.
- Content Management: Integrate and manage content with Contentful, ensuring efficient content delivery and user-friendly interfaces.
- Cloud Solutions: Utilize AWS services for application hosting, database management, and serverless architecture to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Code Quality and Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality products.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, continuously seeking ways to improve and innovate our technology stack.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong portfolio of web applications.
- Next.js: Advanced proficiency in Next.js, including server-side rendering, static site generation, and dynamic routing.
- React: Expert in React, with deep understanding of hooks, context API, state management, and component lifecycle.
- Shopify: Extensive experience with Shopify development, including custom themes, apps, Liquid templating, and API integrations.
- Contentful: Strong knowledge of Contentful (or similar Headless CMS), including content modeling, API usage, and integration with front-end frameworks.
- AWS: Proficient in AWS services, such as Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and CloudFront. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- DevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues and optimize performance.
- Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Frameworks and Libraries: Familiarity with other front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, Vue.js) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Express).
Mobile Development: Experience with mobile app development using React Native.
Security: Knowledge of web security best practices and secure coding principles.
