😃 Role Overview:
Join our software development team as a Full-Stack Software Engineer specialising in React. In this role, you will leverage a dynamic tech stack to build and enhance our web application to deliver an exceptional user experience to our users. You will work remotely alongside our current Software Engineer, focusing on turning our current web application into a new engaging interface. We value communication and collaboration between all team members to drive successful project outcomes. Compensation package to be considered relative to candidate’s skills and experience. - Frontend: React, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML/CSS
- Backend: PHP (Symfony)
- Database: PostgreSQL
- Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform, Nginx, Linux
- VR Technologies: A-Frame (WebXR, THREE.JS)

🏃 Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using React and PHP (Symfony).
- Design and implement responsive front-end architectures that enhance user experience.
- Create and manage well-functioning databases and applications with PostgreSQL.
- Write effective APIs for data integration and consumption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency, troubleshooting and debugging as needed.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Maintain and improve the performance of existing software.
✅ Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science or related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years experience working in a professional software development setting.
- At least 2 years of professional experience specifically with React projects.
- Experience with OOP, server scripting languages and relational database management.
- Proven knowledge of industry-standard best practices and development lifecycle processes.
- A solid understanding of how to work in an agile environment.
- Git version control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a self-motivated approach.
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Keen interest in world languages and cultures through work, study or travel desired.
