Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and provide support for application codes and analytical models.
- Create and improve data solutions to facilitate smooth integration and data flow throughout the data ecosystem.
- Conduct business analysis and develop ETL code and scripting in alignment with technical specifications and business requirements.
- Develop real-time data ingestion and stream-analytic solutions utilizing technologies such as Kafka, Apache Spark (SQL, Scala, Java), Python, and the Hadoop Platform.
- Utilize various development languages/tools like Python, SPARK, Hive, Presto, Java to construct prototypes and assess results for effectiveness and feasibility.
- Design application systems in accordance with standard system development methodology and principles, ensuring superior performance and integrity.
- Provide system support as part of a support rotation with fellow team members.
- Operationalize open-source data analytic tools for enterprise use.
- Ensure adherence to data governance policies by implementing or validating data lineage, quality checks, and data classification.
- Follow the company’s development lifecycle for developing, deploying, and delivering solutions.
- Design and develop data ingestion frameworks using open-source tools and data processing frameworks.
- Design and execute complex and critical data projects.
- Develop, implement, and support application codes and analytical models.
- Enhance data solutions to facilitate seamless data integration and flow across the data ecosystem.
- Design and develop real-time processing solutions.
