We are currently hiring a Home Based Services Nurse Educator for a fully remote, full-time position available to candidates based in Texas (USA). This role supports a patient-centered, team-oriented culture by leading and coordinating nursing education programs across home-based service units.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver education for nurses, patient care technicians, certified nursing assistants, and ward clerks
• Collaborate with unit leadership to identify and address educational needs
• Assist with assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of unit-level educational programs
• Manage ongoing programs including unit-based orientation, preceptor development, resident development, and annual competency assessments
• Coordinate required education initiatives with nursing education professionals across the organization
• Support professional development and clinical competency in alignment with organizational standards

Qualifications

• Required Education: BSN or enrollment in a BSN program within one year
• Preferred Education: Master’s degree in Nursing, Education, or a related field
• Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Hospice
• Preferred Experience: Prior experience as a preceptor or nurse educator
• Required Licensure/Certification:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas
  • BLS certification
• Preferred Certification: Specialty certification
• Required Skills:
  • Clinical nursing proficiency
  • Teaching or training experience (formal or informal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Preferred Skills:
  • Public speaking and presentation experience
