Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Frontend Developer located in Kochi, with some work from home acceptable. The Frontend Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining the user interface and experience for our web applications. Day-to-day tasks include developing responsive web designs, collaborating with back-end developers to integrate front-end and back-end systems, and ensuring web development best practices are followed.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Build dynamic interfaces using modern frameworks (React.js / Angular / Vue.js/Flutter).
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and services.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and accessibility.
• Participate in design discussions and contribute to UI/UX improvements.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize code for performance and scalability.
• Follow coding best practices, version control workflows, and participate in peer reviews.
Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+).
• Exposure to React.js / Angular / Vue.js or similar modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience in consuming REST APIs and working with JSON data.
• Familiarity with responsive design and frameworks like Bootstrap / Tailwind CSS.
• Exposure to real-time projects (internships, academic projects, freelance, or training).
• Good understanding of Git/GitHub or other version control tools.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Context API, Vuex, NgRx).
• Understanding of Webpack, Babel, or other build tools.
• Awareness of UI/UX principles and accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
• Basic knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library).
• Exposure to cloud deployments (Azure Static Web Apps, etc.).
Qualifications
• Experience in Software Development and knowledge of Back-End Web Development
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts is advantageous
