Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Demonstrate expertise in Java and REST APIs.
- Participate actively in agile team activities, including daily stand-ups, design sessions, code reviews, and sprint demos.
- Embrace test-driven development as a core aspect of software delivery.
- Troubleshoot live production environments and minimize downtime.
- Respond to customer-reported issues and provide timely solutions.
- Develop and maintain cloud-based software, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Build capabilities across the complete stack of technology layers for fixes and feature development.
- Work with AI technology to enhance development efficiency and create innovative features.
Requirements:
Experience with cloud-based hosting solutions (AWS)
1-2 years of experience designing, writing, and deploying scalable software
Light experience with the Java stack, SQL databases and web application development
Any experience with Object-Oriented design and coding
Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
Quick learner with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Light exposure to writing unit and integration tests
Ability to work with engineers on cross-functional agile projects
An understanding of data structures, algorithm analysis, and design skills
