Sharp Brains Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Information Technology Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT systems, troubleshooting user problems, and ensuring optimal system performance across the organization.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end users via phone, email, or in person
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and system access
- Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data
- Assist with system upgrades, patches, and new deployments
- Document support requests, resolutions, and maintenance logs
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement best practices and improve workflows
🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or in a similar technical support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows / macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, and network troubleshooting
- Understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, and firewall configurations
- Familiarity with Active Directory, user management, and remote support tools
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple technical issues simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
