Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices that integrate with front-end applications and third-party systems.
• Implement best coding practices, design patterns, and software development principles to build robust applications.
• Work with databases (SQL & NoSQL) for efficient data storage, retrieval, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy and monitor applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, optimizing performance and reliability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve backend architecture and services.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 5 to 8 years of experience in backend development using Java (Java 8+ preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Experience in designing and developing Microservices Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and Web Services.
• Proficiency in SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
• Knowledge of message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Skilled in writing unit tests (JUnit /Mockito).
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
• Excellent understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and memory management.
Good To Have (Optional)
• Experience with GraphQL and WebSockets.
• Exposure to event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with authentication mechanisms like OAuth2, JWT, or SSO.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Qualification : Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
