Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy high-performance Java applications.
- Utilise Java 1.10 and/or 1.11 (consideration for strong Java 1.8 candidates) for efficient application development.
- Design and implement Java Microservices architecture.
- Work with Angular 5x or higher (experience with Angular 2x or higher is a plus) for front-end development.
- Implement solutions on Pivotal Cloud Foundry and leverage Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Collaborate with Git for version control and code management.
- Use J-Unit, Mockito, Karma, or Protractor for effective testing.
- Employ Hibernate for data persistence and Bamboo for continuous integration.
- Troubleshoot issues with expertise in reviewing system logs, App Dynamics, and XML.
- Familiarity with ACORD is a plus.
- SAFe or Scrum certification is preferred, and experience in working in an Agile Team is essential.
The Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Â 1-5 years of experience is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Java Developer in a leadership capacity.
- Strong proficiency in Java development, microservices architecture, and related technologies.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
