We are seeking a talented and motivated Java Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and design patterns.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications, identifying and resolving defects or performance issues.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry to incorporate into application design and development.
- Maintain documentation for code, application processes, and system architecture.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing of applications before deployment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Java Software Engineer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of work.
- Proficiency in Java programming and familiarity with frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or Java EE.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
