In this role, you will work closely with the QA Team and assist with testing our flagship product and its reporting features. You will identify weak spots in the code base and constantly design better and creative ways to break software and identify potential problems. You will perform hands-on QA testing including data integrity for new features and regression testing while working with developers to resolve all identified defects, risks and issues.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for testing web applications, creative content and special projects
- Create test cases against the user stories to support application development
- Testing the application through both manual and automated means
- Conduct regression, system, integration, and web services testing
- Test and ensure that software enhancements and system fixes work flawlessly to meet intended business needs according to defined requirements
- Make recommendations for revisions or improvements, including product customization, based on client feedback
- Identify user stories and translate them into test cases as required
- Identifying and log defects using Team Foundation Server
- Provide usability and functionality feedback to developers
- Assist and collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers and Release Manager to ensure that the application development is according to the quality assurance standards
- Work closely in collaboration with the developers, designers and engineers to facilitate the building of applications to spec and on time
- Ensures traceability of test cases to requirements
- Participating in sprint planning meetings and daily standup meetings, working with developers, business analysts, project managers, user advocates, and other testers, local and remote
- Maintain strong, ongoing channels of communication with QA and Development teams
- Ability to clearly communicate and synchronize efforts with the rest of the QA team.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- 0-1 years of experience in creating user stories and translate them into test cases
- 0-1 years of experience with Confluence, Jira and Team Foundation Server
- 0-1 years of experience with building and executing manual test cases for client Web & GUI applications
- Strong analysis and autonomous problem discovery and solving skills
- Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a team
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience testing RESTful web services and API’s a plus
