Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and test a high-quality application software in the field of automation technology used for commissioning, parameterization and programming of electrical servo drives, PLC systems and remote I/Os.
- Ensure the implementation, integration, testing and deploying of the software that follows the DevOps principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional international teams.
- Continuously enhance and seek out methods and tools and actively acquire new knowledge.
Technical Competencies and Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable qualification.
- Excellent written and spoken English. German language skills are an advantage.
- Professional Competencies and Requirements
- Proven expertise as a full-stack developer in Microsoft .NET (C#, WPF) and in the development of modular, platform-independent software systems.
- Good knowledge of software architecture, object-oriented software development and design patterns like MVVM and experience in the design of programming interfaces (e.g., REST API).
- Experience in agile software development methods, e.g., SCRUM, version control (GIT).
- Experience in the development of engineering software or application development in an industrial environment as well as in software development for embedded devices shall be considered as an advantage.
