WhatJobs is seeking a Lead Blockchain Developer to head the design, development, and implementation of blockchain-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of blockchain architectures, smart contract development, and decentralized applications (dApps). You will lead a team of developers, collaborate with product managers and architects, and ensure successful deployment of blockchain initiatives.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of blockchain systems, protocols, and smart contracts
- Design and implement decentralized applications (dApps)
- Manage the integration of blockchain solutions with existing systems
- Research and evaluate new blockchain technologies and frameworks
- Ensure security, scalability, and performance optimization of blockchain networks
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers

- Conduct code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Solidity, Ethereum, Hyperledger, Polygon, or similar blockchain platforms
- Hands-on experience with smart contract development, DeFi, NFTs, or DAO implementations
- Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, Python, or Go for blockchain integrations
- Experience with cryptography, consensus algorithms, and distributed ledger technologies
- Familiarity with web3.js / ethers.js and decentralized APIs
- Understanding of cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
