Job Description
We are seeking an experienced developer with expertise in legacy system modernization, specifically with OFS, IRIS API, and Infobasic language. The ideal candidate will have experience working on customizations, batch jobs, COBOL, reports, data interfaces, and migration of legacy systems to modern environments. You will work on various modules, integrations, and migration projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain OFS, IRIS APIs, and security modules
• Design and implement data interfaces, migrations, and customizations in legacy systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate solutions
• Work on batch jobs, COBOL, and reporting systems
• Ensure clean, optimized, and maintainable code
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in legacy systems
• Perform regular testing and code reviews to ensure quality and functionality
Mandatory Skills
✔ Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software development
✔ Strong experience in OFS, IRIS API, and Infobasic
✔ Familiarity with legacy systems (jBASE/Jboss/TAFJ) and COBOL
✔ Solid understanding of Batch jobs, Reports, and Data Interfaces
✔ Experience in IRIS Interfaces and Data Migration projects
✔ Exposure to customization of legacy applications
✔ Familiarity with Agile methodologies
✔ Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
Desirable Skills:
• Experience with jBASE/Jboss/TAFJ for legacy system modernization
• Familiarity with data migration tools and techniques
• Knowledge of customization and integration within legacy environments
