Are you ready to join a leading BMC firmware development team in Bangalore, India, and contribute to creating the world’s top servers? Lenovo ThinkSystem XCC monitors, controls, and manages Lenovo ThinkSystem products. We have an exciting opportunity for a talented engineer to work with cutting-edge x86 and ARM technology and firmware development. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Server BMC firmware for new ThinkSystem products, as well as providing support for our global customers in the General Purpose Team.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Hands-on firmware development in C and C++
- Expertise in BMC-related protocols and technologies (IPMI, I2C, SPI, RedFish, REST, OS Internals, etc.)
- Knowledge of software development processes and Agile methodologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Proficient Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Ability to address complex functional problems with creativity and judgment
- Skilled in analyzing situations and implementing solutions
- Capable of managing work priorities and methods requiring trade-offs
- Provides technical and operational advice
- Exercises discretion and independent judgment in significant matters
